SNOW DAY!

Monday, January 23rd, 2006

Nathan and I had some snow fun this morning. He enjoyed playing snow plow on the the slide at the playground. I think it took 10 or 12 passes to get the slide clear of all of the sticky, wet snow.

Molly and Rada came over for some trains and conversation this weekend, and we had a great time. Molly blogged the evening complete with photos and a full account of the events.

Beet hands

Friday, January 13th, 2006

Nathan enjoyed a large quantity of shredded raw beets the other night at dinner time. He was pretty interested in the idea that if you eat enough of them your pee turns red so I think he was doing a little experiment. Well his hands certainly turned a lovely shade. The red shirt really worked well for the meal as it didn’t require any special stain care.

Baa Baa Black Sheep

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006

What a lovely holiday season. We were having so much fun we didn’t wind up blogging much - sorry about that.

Nathan enjoyed singing carols this year. Just one carol actually - Jingle Bells. He sings it a lot, even to himself in his stroller as we walk around Cambridge. He also sings Baa Baa Black Sheep, and you can catch the video here. The video has been encoded so that it will play on a video iPod!

Update: I replaced the video with one that is a little bigger, and will be easier for more people to see on their computers.
