Natick Community Organic Farm
Saturday, April 30th, 2005We went to Natick Community Farm this morning for the first time this season. I was really hoping for fresh eggs but there weren’t any available today.
I really like this farm because it has a lot of animals. Today we saw lots and lots of baby goats and sheep along with their mamas. We saw lots of chickens and a couple of cows. The turkeys didn’t survive Thanksgiving but new one should arrive soon. The pigs were turned into sausage but the piglets should arrive soon too.
Nathan had a great time feeding grass to the goats but his favorite parts involve the farm equipment. He was sad to learn that there were no hayrides today. They only do them twice a year there but I suspect he’ll mention it everytime we go.
